So this is Young Jeezy and DJ Scream, heavy in the streets. Both are big names in the hip hop/rap business and of course also huge names in the music industry. When I've heard Trap Or Die 2 by Young Jeezy and Don Cannon I've thought this is definetly the best Young Jeezy mixtape this year (if it aint the best Jeezy Mixtape ever) and definetly one of the best mixtapes this year. So to me Trap Or Die 2 was really like on top but then I've heard DJ Scream is about to drop a mixtape with Young Jeezy. On one hand I was happy because of the new Young Jeezy songs but on the other hand I felt a little bit sad because sometimes it seems to me like DJ Scream mixtapes are less popular than Don Cannon's and DJ Drama's. The first song on the mixtape is "Death Before Dishonor" and I have heard it already before I was listening to the mixtape but when I've heard it on the mixtape - the first 5 minutes of the mixtape - already this short moment gave me the feeling that the old Young Jeezy is back. The Young Jeezy from Thug Motivation 101 with songs like Trap Star, Soul Survivor and My Hood. I loved the tracks because this were the tracks where I started interesting for southern hip hop, for southern artists. So this mixtape, "1,000 Grams" brought me the old Young Jeezy back. Once again, thank you DJ Scream for bringing Young Jeezy back!!!
